Scoom Admin — Privacy Policy

1. Account Access & Data Collection

Access to the Scoom Admin App is strictly restricted to pre-authorized campus partners. Accounts are provisioned directly by system administrators; there is no public self-registration or merchant account creation within the application. We manage and process the following data to maintain account integrity and execute operations:

• Account Credentials: Pre-assigned administrative identifiers, professional roles, and affiliated campus/canteen/institution designations.
• Communication Logs: Registered contact numbers or emails linked to your merchant management profile.
• Business Credentials: Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) license details, operational certificates, and GST information (where applicable).
• Payment Settlement Data: Necessary bank identifiers and routing details shared with our RBI-authorized payment partner (Razorpay) to execute financial payouts for completed canteen orders and ticket distributions.

2. Processing Third-Party Data (Student Orders & Event Ticketing)

• Data Visibility: The Admin App displays relevant student transaction data belonging to users who place pickup orders or purchase event tickets via the Scoom consumer application. This includes student names, items ordered, order numbers, ticket identifiers, and preparation status.
• Purpose: This data is displayed strictly to facilitate real-time food preparation, menu tracking, counter order pickup validation, and physical event check-ins. The Admin App does not extract, copy, or repurpose this student data for external processing.

3. Scope of Managed Offerings

• On-Campus Pickup & Event Management: The Scoom Admin App is designed exclusively for managing on-campus food order pickups (no delivery operations) and physical event ticket allocations. It does not facilitate the distribution or management of digital goods or virtual services.

4. Data Sharing & Payment Aggregation

• Financial Routing: We share mandatory settlement data with our integrated payment service provider (Razorpay) solely to process and route your merchant earnings directly to your verified bank account.
• Compliance Disclosures: Data may be shared with institution administrations, public health/safety bodies, or legal authorities if strictly required by law or to investigate verified compliance breaches.

5. Account Deactivation & Retention

• Account Closure: Because accounts are managed centrally, you may request the deactivation or removal of your access credentials by contacting the administration directly via the support email below.
• Operational Logs: Fundamental transaction values, fulfillment histories, settlement records, and system audit logs are retained post-deactivation to comply with Indian financial reporting regulations and auditing standards.
